PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm gas meter capable of restraining vertical motion of a rotary valve to a required minimum at transportion or at construction. SOLUTION: In this diaphragm gas meter, two air chambers 11, sandwiching a diaphragm 13 which is fixed airtightly with an outer circumferential edge, are provided in each of two measuring chambers 1 located with a partitioning wall therebetween, and advancing and retracting displacements of the diaphragm 13, by the supply and exhaust of gas in the two air chambers 11, are converted respectively into rotational motions and conduct measurement of the gas. The diaphragm gas meter is provided with a regulation guide 54 for restraining the floating of a peripheral edge part of the rotary valve 3 for controlling the supply and exhaust of gas to the two air chambers 11.
