PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device capable of certainly preventing an unfair locking operation from the outside and easy in escape in emergency. SOLUTION: The lock device is driven by an operation to an operation section 1 exposed to the outdoor side. The device is constituted of a lock base 4 holding a lock operation section 3 driving the locking body 2 between the locking/unlocking positions, a cover body 5 rotationally pivoted to a lock base 4, covering the operation section 1 of the indoor side in a locking posture and making the operation to the operation section 1 unable, and a lock section 7 making restriction releasable by the operation onto the locking operation section 6 arranged on the lock base 4.
