PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain fireproof and smokeproof equipment of an elevator hall, which can maintain airtight performance and fireproof performance even if a screen weight is lifted by being subjected to hot air etc. from a fire. SOLUTION: The screen weight 8 is attached to a lower end of a fireproof and smokeproof screen 6. The screen 6 descends on the occurrence of the fire, so that a front surface of an elevator hall door can be closed for the formation of a fireproof section. The screen weight 8 is equipped with screen weight bodies 9 and 10 which are provided at the lower end of the fireproof and smokeproof screen, and a closing body 12 or 14 which is attached to the screen weight body in a vertically slidable manner, and which descends by self-weight when the screen weight is lifted, so as to close a gap between the screen weight body and a floor surface of the hall.
