PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled sulky lawn mower which can easily cut peripheral weeds such as trees and can minimize the projection of a sub-cutter from the side of the vehicle body, when the sub-cutter is stored. SOLUTION: This self-propelled sulky lawn mower is characterized by disposing a main cutter 5 and the sub-cutter 6 capable of being opened or closed on one side of a travel vehicle body 3 in the abdominal portion of the travel vehicle body 3 suspended between a pair of right and left front wheels 1 and a pair of right and left rear wheels 2, disposing the rear wheels in a smaller width W2 between both the rear wheels than a width W1 between both the front wheels, and disposing the sub-cutter 6 in a state capable of storing the approximately whole body of the sub-cutter 6 into the outside portion A of the rear wheels 2 within the width W1 between both the front wheels.
