<p>Composition (C1) comprising interleukin-2 (IL-2) and sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) in the form of aggregates, where the composition has a specific turbidity of less than 1.1 cm 2>/g, the aggregates have a mean hydrodynamic diameter of 8-20 nm and/or the SDS/IL-2 ratio is 95-250 mu g/mg, is new. Independent claims are also included for: (1) freeze-dried composition (C2) that can be reconstituted with an aqueous medium to form C1; (2) kit comprising C1 or C2 and a second pharmaceutical agent.
