<p>A method of lactoferrin separation and purification, comprising the step of mixing an aqueous solution of lactoferrin, an organic solvent and an anionic surfactant or anionic lipid together under agitation and recovering an organic phase; and the step of adding an alkali aqueous solution to the organic phase, agitating the mixture and thereafter recovering a water phase. Lactoferrin of high purity can be easily obtained by virtue of this method. The lactoferrin obtained by this method is suitable for use as a raw material for food, medicine, cosmetic or the like.</p> |
