<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of accurately accessing a cartridge memory installed in interchangeable components without reducing printing performance even when print jobs are continuously received, to provide an image forming apparatus control method and a program for controlling the image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: Regarding a printer functioning as the image forming apparatus, whether or not a new print job is received when the print job is finished is judged (S109), and when a new print job is received (YES at S109), information to be stored in the cartridge memory installed in a toner cartridge is held by an RAM installed in the printer main body part, on the other hand, when the new print job is not received (NO at S109), information to be stored in the cartridge memory is stored in the cartridge memory (S110). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
