<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve removing efficiency of a specific impurity gas contained in the air. <P>SOLUTION: This is the gas removing device which is installed at the air supply facility of a fuel cell that generates electricity by utilizing an electrochemical reaction between a fuel gas and oxygen in the air, and which is the gas removing device to remove the impurity gases out of the air supplied to the fuel cell consisting of a porous body 43, having numerous minute pores 43h that can absorb molecules of the impurity gas in the air as well as an alternate adsorbing membrane 48 formed on the inner wall face of the minute pores 43h of the porous body 43, constituted of an electrostatic membrane having positive charge and an electrostatic membrane having a negative charge, by which molecules X, Y, Z of specific impurities absorbed by the minute pores 43h are alternately adsorbed. For that reason, the molecules X, Y, Z of the specific impurities absorbed by into the minute pores 43h of the porous body 43 will not be re-scattered out from the minute pores 43h due to temperature variations, air flow rate variations or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
