<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus for facilitating the handling of recording paper with a test image for color calibration printed on it. <P>SOLUTION: The color calibration processing is carried out by a printer 10 during continuous printing by cutting in with a print processing for the test image used for the color proof processing when a requested image to which printing is requested is continuously printed in response to a request by a user. In this case, by ejecting recording paper with the requested image printed on it and the recording paper on which the test image is printed to different ejection trays 302, recording paper with the test image recorded on it is easily sorted by the printer 10. Furthermore, by forbidding post processing to the recording medium with the test image printed on it when a request is made by the user to carry out post processing, the printer 10 prevents the recording medium with the test image printed on it from being mixed with the two or more recording mediums on which the requested images are printed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
