<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood glucose level-improving agent and a blood glucose level-improving food or drink which use polyglutamic acid having a hypoglycaemic action. <P>SOLUTION: This blood glucose level-improving agent and the blood glucose level-improving food or drink contain polyglutamic acid having a structure of formula (1) and a mol. wt. of 10,000 to 1,700,000.
