<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly safe swab which can be held at a correct position at the time of use. <P>SOLUTION: This swab is constituted such that a fiber lump-like part is attached to the end part of a shaft and a holding area of a prescribed width which indicates a part to be held with fingers is displayed on a part of a shaft surface in a color different from the one of the shaft. Thus, since a user can hold the correct position at all times just by picking the shaft so as to apply fingertips within the holding area, the accident of putting the swab to the ear or the nostril too deep at the time of use and hurting an ear drum or a mucous membrane is prevented, and safety is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
