PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle radio communication terminal, wherein the operating mode of a wireless LAN communication interface section does not require second manual setting, and to provide an on-vehicle radio communications system. SOLUTION: The on-vehicle radio communication terminal is provided with a positional information detection section 103 for utilizing the GPS or the like to detect the present position of a vehicle; and an access point information storage section 104 for storing the positional information of a wireless LAN access point 200 at the outside of the vehicle, and automatically switches the operating mode of wireless LAN communication into a station mode, at least in either of the states when the speed of the vehicle is decreased and the reception sensitivity of the GPS or the like is deteriorated.
