PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the measurement of a concentration of PCB contained in insulating oil used in a transformer on the basis of "a bottom material investigation method and the explanation thereof" causes, in a removing operation process of an oil component or the like by an acetonitrile/hexane distribution method, hexane and acetonitrile to form an emulsion when hexane-saturated acetonitrile is added to and mixed with a hexane solution containing PCB under a violent shaking condition and allowed to stand, and causes time to be required in order to separate the hexane layer from the acetonitrile layer, or makes it impossible to separate these layers. SOLUTION: Hexane is added to the hexane solution containing PCB as an emulsion forming inhibitor before hexane-saturated acetonitrile is added. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
