PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive device attenuating vibration and shock while supporting a body with a small mass to be vibration-insulated in order to secure the body of which the vibration and the shock are not desirable to an object or a vibration generating source which is massive and three dimensionally generates the vibration or the shock. SOLUTION: In the vibration damper a floating section is supported by the inside of a base container section through gel members. The gel members are arranged between respective inner walls of the floating section, a base container bottom section, a base container lid section, and a base container side face section. The gel members do not come into contact with other gel members even due to the deformation by an added load. In this case, the gel members transfers supporting force to the floating section while absorbing and attenuating the vibration and the shock from the base container section by the gel members, has SRIS0101 (ASKA C) hardness of 5 grade or less or has penetration of 100 or greater, and can adjust an attenuation property by changing the size.
