PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder pressure detection device for an internal combustion engine capable of reducing number of necessary A/D converters and memory capacity. SOLUTION: In the cylinder pressure detection device provided with a cylinder pressure sensor 2 provided on each cylinder of an internal combustion engine 1 including multiple cylinders and detecting cylinder pressure and A/D converters 23, 24 converting output of the cylinder pressure sensor 2 to digital values, switch signals SWC1 and SWC2 for acquiring detection cylinder pressure during a compression stroke and a explosion stroke of each cylinder are provided in switch circuits 21, 22. Output signals of the switch circuits 21, 22 are input to the A/D converters 23, 24 and are converted to digital values and the digital values output from the A/D converters 23, 24 are stored in a buffer 12, and are read by a CPU 14.
