NEW TRIPEPTIDE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specific tripeptide which is a new useful substance and to provide a method for producing the tripeptide. SOLUTION: The tripeptide is obtained by carrying out peptide bond in order ofβ-alanine, ornithine and ornithine from N-terminal represented by formula (1). The method for producing the tripeptide comprises (1) diluting extracts of corbicula with water and fractionating the extracts or (2) chemically synthesizing the tripeptide by using ornithine in whichα-amino group andδ-amino group are protected andβ-alanine in whichβ-amino group is protected.
