PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner whose main body is reduced in size and weight and which is easily used even when the main body is removed from a shoulder and is easily stored concerning the shoulder vacuum cleaner to be used by shouldering the main body of the vacuum cleaner. SOLUTION: The shoulder vacuum cleaner comprises: the main body 3 incorporating an electric blower 1 for generating a suction force; a set of hose components whose one end is connected to the main body 3; an extension pipe 6 whose one end is connected to the other end of the set of hose components 5; a suction nozzle 7 to be connected to the other end of the extension pipe 6; and a shoulder belt 4 for shouldering the main body 3. A lock part 8 for locking the main body 3 so as to be freely removable is arranged at a prescribed position of the extension pipe 6.
