PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple toilet bowl convenient for users with weak physical strength such as the aged or the diseased inexpensively and without requiring wide space. SOLUTION: The simple toilet bowl 1 is provided with armrests 6 raised on both sides of the upper surface of a toilet bowl body 6. Each armrest 6 consists of a support 10 and an armrest panel 11 supported by the support 10, and a detachable front support member 14 is laid across the front ends of the armrest panels 11 on both sides. When the toilet bowl is used, the front support member 14 is laid between the left and right armrests 6, so that the user takes a posture bending forward for easy defecation with arms supported on the front support member 14.
