CAMERA IMAGE DISTRIBUTION FOR ELEVATOR

Elevators Ela through Eln are provided with camera servers 4a through 4n equipped with a means for superimposing time data on camera images, a circuit for compressing the superimposed image data, and a circuit for delivering the compressed image data and non-compressed time to the elevator surveillance center S via a communication line. The elevator surveillance center S is provided with reception/display device (6 of fig. 1) which displays an image obtained by expanding the received compressed image data and the non-compressed time data simultaneously.
