An impregnating material applicator, especially for windings, has a container (10) for holding the assembly (15) and the impregnating material and an AC powered electrical heating device for the assembly. The heating device has an electric power coupling arrangement for generating heat in the assembly (15) and which comprises at least one induction coil (20) arranged in the container (10) and standing in operative- eddy-current-generating and/or transformer-type connection with the assembly (15).
