<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a speed in a short brake distance by appropriately operating an emergency brake device and to appropriately and separately use the operation and operation by a brake pedal when they are competed even in a vehicle in which ABS (anti-lock brake system) operated by an electrical switch operated by a driver is installed in addition to a brake system by operation of the brake pedal of the driver. <P>SOLUTION: The emergency brake device is constituted such that a sub-air tank (11) for appropriately setting air pressure to low degree is provided in addition to a main air tank (1), a cut valve (14) operated utilizing the air pressure of the sub-air tank (11) and automatically selecting a larger side of the brake pressure when the main brake system and the emergency brake system are competed and a quick release valve (16) for communicating the air pressure with atmospheric pressure when the emergency brake system is operated to the OFF state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
