PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a high photoelectric conversion efficiency by increasing the electric conductivity of materials constituting the photoelectric converter. SOLUTION: A ballistic conductor 33, a carrier transporter 34 composed of an electrolyte, and a second conductor 35 are successively laminated on a first conductor 32. In another example, a ballistic conductor of one conductivity type, a carrier transporter of the other conductivity type, and a second conductor are successively laminated on a first conductor, and a dye is in presence in the surface of the ballistic conductor facing the carrier transporter. In this way, carriers generated by photovoltaic conversion in the ballistic conductor are efficiently transported to the first conductor or to the second conductor, and this provides a photoelectric converter with its conversion efficiency improved and its electric conductivity increased.
