PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with using a reference electrode regarding a method and system for composing a reference value with an electrocardial waveform (electrocardial waveform). SOLUTION: The method comprises a step 200 for specifying a trigger event in the electrocardial waveform, a step 230 for waiting for a definite period until the electrocardial waveform enters a relatively inactive period after the trigger event, a step 240 for sampling the electrocardial waveform during the relatively inactive period, and a step 250 for collating the electrocardial waveform with a sample.
