<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent flexural warpage generated in a reflecting plate by using a light source support means, in a backlight device. <P>SOLUTION: This light source support means 4 is used for this backlight device wherein the reflecting plate 2 is laid on a surface of a shield 1; fluorescent tubes 3 are arranged in front of it at nearly even intervals and appropriate parts of the fluorescent tubes 3 adjacent to each other are attached to the shield 1 by the light source support means 4; and a diffusion plate 15 and an optical sheet 16 are arranged in front of the fluorescent tubes 3. The light source support means is equipped with: a pair of support parts 4a opened upward and downward for supporting the light sources from the inside of the light sources adjacent to each other so as to catch the light sources; a bridging part 4c for integrally connecting the pair of support parts 4a to each other in the vertical direction of the fluorescent tubes 3 and having a center part having a flat shape swelling in the longitudinal direction of the fluorescent tubes 3; and a lock part 4b projected on a back center part of the bridging part 4c or the back face of the support part, having a coming-off prevention piece in a peripheral part, and inserted and locked to a mounting hole formed in the shield 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
