<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head facilitating weight distribution such as lowering of a gravity center and having superior impact resistance and a sufficient strength. <P>SOLUTION: This head relating to a claim 1 is characterized in that a hollow head body opened with an opening part is formed of a metal material, and the opening part is joined with a plate member formed by press-forming the metal material containing hard particles.
