摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptical device with which the display quality is made uniform, and further the uniformity and resolution of pictures is satisfactory, for example, a liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: The electrooptical device is the liquid crystal display device which has a substrate 6a, a nonlinear resistance element 33 with a laminated structure of a first metal 36, an insulating film 37, a second metal 38, a dot electrode 24a connected to the second metal 38 of the nonlinear resistance element 33, and wiring 31 mounted on the substrate 6a. The second metal 38 and the dot electrode 24a are formed of a polycrystalline ITO formed with annealing treatment of an amorphous ITO. Thereby the second metal 38 and the electrode 24a with high dimensional accuracy are obtained and variation of the display quality is prevented. The second layer 31b of the wiring 31 is formed of a silver based metal, a copper based metal or an Al-Ni-C alloy and suppresses a resistance value of the liquid crystal display device as a whole to a low level, even when the ITO is of high resistance, to make the uniformity and the resolution of the picture satisfactory.
