PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of reliably improving the steering feeling (the neutral feeling) when a steering member is in a vicinity of the neutral position thereof. SOLUTION: The electric power steering device comprises a steering angle detector 3S to detect the steering angle of a steering member 1 and a torque detector 3T to detect the torque applied to a torsion bar 31 of a steering shaft 3. A control device 10 performs the drive control of an electric motor 6 so that the reaction force corresponding to the detected steering angle is given to a steering shaft 3 when it is detected that the steering angle detected from the steering angle detector 3S is within a predetermined angular range, and the detected torque from the torque detector 3T is in a predetermined torque range.
