PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electromagnetic actuator, wherein the efficiency of cooling of the winding coils of fixed cores can be stably enhanced and maintained so that electrical breakdowns will not occur in the winding coils by heating, the assembly of the fixed cores and the assembly/disassembly of the actuator itself are facilitated, and cost reduction and reliability in enhancement can be obtained. SOLUTION: The fixed cores 3 and 4 are constructed as follows the winding coils 12 are fit into the coil fitting recesses 11 of a laminate core 10 and protruded from both the end faces of the laminate core 10. A cooling channel 14 is fit onto the protruded portion at least on the side of one end, and the cooling channel 14 and the winding coils 12 are integrally coupled with each other by a molding material 15.
