PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the performance of periodicity verification of stream ciphering. SOLUTION: This device for evaluating stream ciphering is provided with an algorithm input part 1 which inputs stream cipher algorithm; a reduced algorithm producing part 2 which creates reduced algorithm, of which the scale is reduced as storing algorithm structure of the inputted stream cipher algorithm; a reduced algorithm executing part 3 which generates random numbers to be a key for the stream cipher, by operating the reduced algorithm and outputs this random number sequence; and a periodicity verifying part 4 which verifies the periodicity of the random number sequence.
