PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome a problem that even though patterning precision for making a semiconductor element and wiring finer is improved, the high definition of a display device having a light emitting element is not expected since the aperture of a metal mask cannot be made narrower. SOLUTION: Element forming regions of the same colors 100R, 100G and 100B are arranged diagonally and a pixel portion has a structure that a region for forming an element is shared by a plurality of pixels. Specifically, the element forming regions of a first color, a second color and a third color are arranged diagonally and three or more element forming regions are shared by one pixel.
