PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage container with an shelf for which hanging bolts extended downwards from a ceiling and holes of the ceiling plate of the case of the storage container are easily engaged, burdens of attaching work are reduced and the holes of the ceiling plate is closed in the state of attaching the storage container to the ceiling at the time of hanging the storage container with the elevating/lowering shelf from the ceiling of a house and attaching it. SOLUTION: For this storage container, the hanging bolts 40 extended downwards are attached to the ceiling 5, oblong holes 41 of a dimension larger than the outer diameter of the hanging bolt are bored on the ceiling plate 21 of the case 10 of a motor-driven elevating/lowering shelf 11, washer-like plates 43 capable of closing the oblong holes, where a through-hole 42 is perforated, is arranged on the lower surface side of the ceiling plate, a box nut 44 is screw threaded onto the lower part of the hanging bolt inserted into the oblong hole of the ceiling plate and the through-hole of the plate, and the case is attached to the ceiling.
