PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet irradiation device excellent in operating property in a head section using an ultraviolet light emitting diode as a light source. SOLUTION: The ultraviolet irradiation device used to cure an ultraviolet curing resin for bonding a part comprises a head section 12 having an ultraviolet light emitting diode 221 provided therein and emitting ultraviolet rays and a controller unit having a power supply circuit and a control circuit and connected with the head section 12 by an electric cable 15. The head section 12 comprises a switch 216 for turning on/off the ultraviolet rays radiation of the ultraviolet light emitting diode 221, an indicator 218 displaying an ON/OFF state of the ultraviolet rays radiation, and an output adjusting means 217 for adjusting the output level of the ultraviolet rays.
