PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems such that, although it is said that bladderwort grows by planting a plant of Gramineae, adding water by 10 cm above soil and cultivating the bladderwort, there is no artificial medium with which the bladderwort can be grown stably; and also in its cultivation in the soil with the plant of Gramineae, the bladderwort grows only in the case of using the soil fitting to the growth of the bladderwort, but sometimes there are cases that the soil does not fit for the growth, and also the growth state is not only changed by following the states of the soil and of the plant of Gramineae, but also it is difficult to grow the bladderwort stably since the required components of the soil are not clear. SOLUTION: The subject medium is an artificial synthetic medium for growing the bladderwort, obtained by adding various inorganic salts and inositol into pure water by referring to the water quality of a pond where the bladderwort grows naturally and a tissue culture medium (Murashige, Skoog medium), and is constituted e.g. by sterilizing 500 mg/L inositol-based medium at 120°C for 3 hrs. The basic medium is obtained by diluting the inorganic salts of the Murashige, Skoog tissue culture medium except for calcium chloride by 50 folds and concentrating the calcium chloride by 2 folds.
