MEASURING METHOD FOR OPTICAL TRANSFER FUNCTION, IMAGE RESTORING METHOD, AND DIGITAL IMAGING DEVICE

A measuring method for optical transfer function which scans an irradiation light from a light source (31) on an element to be measured out of imaging elements of an imaging camera in which an imaging optical system and the imaging elements are formed integrally by the irradiation light. The irradiation light is sequentially converted into electrical signals at the element to be measured and the electrical signals are output. Point spread data is generated based on the output electrical signals and it is subjected to Fourier transform to obtain optical transfer function. Accordingly, the measuring method for optical transfer function can suitably restore an image deterioration due to such causes as the location of an imaging optical system in an imaging camera and element-to-element cross talk.
