<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a magnet excellent in corrosion resistance and magnetic characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing the magnet comprises a step of filling ultrafine particle magnetic powder in an aerosol chamber 114 in which a solution of an organic solvent is entered, generating powder aerosol by flowing a carrier gas and applying vibration, introducing it into a decompression chamber 111, and spraying and depositing it to a substrate 118 provided in the decompression chamber. At least two aerosol chambers are provided, and hard magnetic phase powder as ultrafine particle magnetic powder is filled in a first aerosol chamber 114a, and soft magnetic phase powder is filled in a second aerosol chamber 114b, and at least two types of powder aerosol are individually sprayed.
