PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of obtaining a temperature of the indoor air at a wind arrival point without using a special indoor temperature detector. SOLUTION: This air conditioner comprises a microcomputer 1, a compressor of variable operation frequency, an indoor air blower 3 of variable operation rotational frequency, and an indoor heat exchanger temperature detecting part 5 for detecting a temperature of an indoor heat exchanger (not shown in Figure), and the air temperature at the wind arrival point is analogized on the basis of the temperature detected by the indoor heat exchanger temperature detecting part 5 and the rotational frequency of the indoor air blower 3. As a size of a room using the air conditioner, is assumed in advance by the ability of the air conditioner, and the air temperature at a time when the wind arrives at a corner of the room of the assumed size can be obtained on the basis of the relationship between the rotational frequency of the indoor air blower 3 and the temperature of the indoor heat exchanger, the special indoor temperature detector is unnecessary, and the inexpensive air conditioner can be provided.
