PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for foaming injection compression molding, containing a high-density polyethylene having excellent chemical resistance and low-temperature impact resistance as a main component, and suitable for a foamed resin product, especially a large-scale foamed resin product. SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises the high-density polyethylene and a macromolecular material having compatibility with the high-density polyethylene, and a long chain-branched structure. A low-density polyethylene, a polyethylene-vinyl acetate, a polyethylene-ethyl acetate, a polyethylene methacrylate, an ionomer and a polypropylene can be used as the macromolecular material.
