摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle operation supporting device and method for performing the optimal operation support for a vehicle operator by comprehensively judging the peripheral traveling environment of a vehicle and the state of the vehicle itself. SOLUTION: A traveling environment where a vehicle is placed is detected, and the state of the vehicle is detected. The operating state of the vehicle is estimated based on the detected traveling environment and vehicle state. Also, the operation ideal model of the vehicle corresponding to the traveling environment is calculated. Then, the presence/absence of the separation of the estimated operation state from the operation ideal model is calculated, and when the separation is generated, an actuator 22 is driven so that the operation support of the vehicle can be attained.
