PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device without frequent complicated operations in the operation of setting a path by informing the users that no information on the pre-measured position is stored. SOLUTION: The current position outputted from a position memory means 24 is acquired to determine whether the registered point is stored in the position memory means 24. When the registered point is determined not to be registered once, a voice guide means 26 gives a vocal message, for example, saying 'the point (own residence point) is not registered and the current location is registered as own residence if any of the buttons is depressed' and the players is informed by a voice output means 27 that the registered point is not yet registered. The waiting is started and continues until the operation of the button is made by the players and when the operation of any button on an input means is made, the current position is stored into the position memory means 24 as the registered point including the information on the accuracy.
