PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition excellent in flame retardancy, heat resistance and adhesion, to obtain a prepreg using the resin composition, and to provide a laminated board using the prepreg(s). SOLUTION: The resin composition, to be used for forming a sheet-like prepreg by impregnating a base therewith, comprises an epoxy resin including a novolak epoxy resin, a biguanide compound and a flame retardant.
