<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flue gas desulfurization apparatus capable of preventing uneven flow of a flue gas even in the case the amount of the flue gas flowing is changed owing to the load fluctuation or the like or in the case an absorption liquid to be sprayed by a liquid spraying means becomes uneven, carrying out sufficient gas-liquid contact, and sufficiently removing sulfur oxide from the flue gas. <P>SOLUTION: The flue gas desulfurization apparatus 10 comprises a horizontal flue gas flow channel 2 and an absorption tower 1 connected communicably to each other and installed perpendicularly to each other and an absorption liquid spraying means 6 installed in the absorption tower 1 and removes sulfur oxide from a flue gas by absorbing the sulfur oxide in a flue gas 8 in the absorption liquid 11 by gas-liquid contact of the flue gas 8 introduced into the absorption tower 1 from the horizontal flue gas flow channel 2 with the absorption liquid 11 in form of mist by the absorption liquid spraying means 6. The apparatus is provided with a movable uneven flow prevention means 7 for preventing uneven flow of the flue gas 8 in the absorption tower 1 in accordance with the amount of the flue gas 8 to be introduced flowing into the absorption tower 1 from the horizontal flue gas flow channel 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
