PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for suppressing the access concentration to a management server. SOLUTION: In network equipment, operation of the network equipment is monitored, and a notification request to the management server is generated according to the monitoring result of operation of the network equipment. Based on the generated notification request, notification information corresponding to the notification request is determined as predetermined information, and the notification time of notifying the management server of the predetermined information is determined. According to the determined notification time, the predetermined information is transmitted to the management server. When a plurality of notification requests are generated, at least one of a plurality of of pieces of notification information corresponding to the respective notification requests is determined as the predetermined information, and the shortest period of regulated periods regulated for the respective notification requests is taken as the notification period, and the notification time is determined according to this notification period.
