PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and easy-to-handle laser scan microscope that has no restrictions in observing conditions and that provides a highly accurate observed image. SOLUTION: An optical head section 100 is equipped with a casing 100a, in which a coupling 110 as a laser introducing part is fixedly installed, and in which an optical system and the like including a scanner 120 having galvano mirrors 121, 122 and an objective lens 141 are provided. To the coupling 110 of the optical head section 100, a first fiber 112 is connected for introducing a laser beam from a laser generator 300 having laser beam sources 331, 341, 351. The flourescence emitted from a specimen 160 is separated by a second and a third dichroic mirror 260, 270 and detected by a first to a third photodetector 232, 262, 272. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
