PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device of super high fineness without substantially changing a rewriting speed of display pixels. SOLUTION: The image display device is provided with an image data input means capable of inputting image data in such a manner that a display pixel array 18 has two adjacent regions varying in frame rates (>0), or the display device displays the image data in an image display section constituted of the display pixel array. The image display device is constituted by being provided with an image data input means capable of inputting at least a piece of animation image data and at least a piece of still image data at the different frame rates (>0) to the image display section.
