PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing plated foam for preventing electromagnetic wave interference, the plated foam for preventing the electromagnetic wave interference produced by the method, and an electromagnetic wave interference preventing material produced by using the foam. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the plated foam for preventing the electromagnetic wave interference or in a method for producing the laminate of the foam and a cloth, the resin foam or the laminate of the foam and the cloth is compressed in a plating process to produce the foam or the laminate which is thinned in the plating process.
