PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making a card in which a work for separating a card making sheet into each card forming region by cutting can be facilitated, and to provide a card making sheet and a cutter. SOLUTION: In a card making sheet 1, any one of the longitudinal or lateral side of a card forming region 3 is previously cut by a slit line 4. The card making sheet 1 is set in a cutter 10 and cut along the longitudinal side 5 by traveling a slider section 51. Since the card making sheet 1 can be separated into each card forming region 3 by simply cutting the longitudinal side 5, a card 7 can be made easily. Furthermore, a consumer can introduce the cutter 10 easily because it has a simple structure consisting of a supporting section 11 provided with a mounting plate 12 and a retaining cover 21 for holding the card making sheet 1 between, and a pair of cutter blades 55.
