PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper capable of being prevented from slipping down without tightening the skin of a user excessively, and capable of being easily worn by a novel wearing method such that the hand is inserted in each of a leg opening parts to draw out a leg. SOLUTION: In this pantie-shaped disposable diaper equipped with an absorbent body 4 having liquid holding properties, having an abdominal part A, a crotch part C and a back part B and constituted so that both side edge parts of the abdominal part A and both side edge parts of the back part B are joined to form a waist opening part and a pair of leg opening parts, elastic members 71a are arranged between the peripheral edge end 72 of the waist opening part at the front and rear ends of the absorber and elastic members 71b inclined so as to be separated from the peripheral edge end 72 of the waist opening part as they direct outward in the lateral direction of the diaper from inside are provided to the regions H on the side of the crotch part C from the positions of the front and rear ends of the absorber 4 in the abdominal part A and/or the back part B and outside the positions of both side edges of the absorber 4.
