A lock with a main latch (3) and one of more secondary latches has a simple design with a main latch drive lever (8) operated by a single cam driven by the key and/or the handle. The main latch is driven by a control slot (12) in the main latch lever, and the secondary locks are operated by the sliding ends (7, 8) of the main latch lever. Operating the lock to pull back the main latch automatically draws back the secondary latches.
