The scissors has an upper measuring carrier (4) and a lower measuring carrier (2) at a side of the upper measuring carrier. The carriers are at a side of a common axis of rotation (6) and stored in such a manner, that the upper measurer carrier implements a plier's movement. The upper measuring carrier has an arc-shaped movement to the lower carrier. The axis of rotation can be adjusted for the adjustment of the upper measurer carrier (4) in the direction of metal bands.
