<p>The scanning unit has a carrier with optoelectronic elements with radiation-sensitive or radiation-emitted surfaces facing away from the carrier and electric leads between the carrier and the contact region. The scanning unit (1) has at least one optoelectronic element (3c,3d), which is arranged on a carrier element (2). A radiation-sensitive or a radiation-emitting surface area of the element is oriented away from the carrier element. At least one electric conducting lead (6c,6d) is arranged between the carrier element and a contact region of the element.
